The Distilled Spirits Council of Vermont is a cooperative, non-profit organization created to develop, promote, and maintain the distilled spirits industry in Vermont. The Council members provide the region and tourists with the farm-to-table experience that Vermont is known for, while focusing their support on the regional craft distilling industry.
In an effort to solidify and bolster the distilled spirits industry in Vermont, the majority of the state's distillers have banded together to create the Distilled Spirits Council of Vermont. They needed a website and wanted to create a tasting tour that would showcase the locations of each member distillery in an effort to increase foot traffic.
The premise of the tasting tour is that as you visit each member’s distillery, you’ll get a stamp on your tasting tour passport. Get a stamp from each member distillery and they’ll send you a “I conquered the Tasting Tour” t-shirt. We harnessed the power of Google Maps and delivered a digital tasting tour that is easy to update and maintain.
The council, the website and tasting tour have been operational for almost 10 years and have been a huge success in helping develop and grow the spirits industry in Vermont.
